razor blackwidow – software update?

es is Sonntag un ich dacht mir ich mal mal wieder updates auf dem localen System… eigentlich ja ne nette idee - bei dem update bin ich auch drauf gestoßen das es ein Firmware Update und ein Treiber Update für meine Tastatur gibt - im Normalfall sollte man ja einfach auf update klicken un gut ist (ja windows - sollte also funktionieren…). Dem war natürlich nicht so, das Firmware Update killt den Bootloader auf der Tastatur, womit diese nicht mehr so wirklich was macht, unter linux sehe ich noch das der Kernel mir sacht das da nen USB Keyboard angeschlossen ist, aber sonst ist die Tasta Tod.
Zum glück hat man mehrere Tastaturen im Haus ;)

I uninstalled everything (BlackWidow software and firmware update)
2. download an old firmware version and installed it (v1.05 from <a href="http://www.razersupport.com/index.php?_m=downloads&_a=viewdownload&downloaditemid=531)" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://www.razersupport.com/index.php?_m=downloads&_a=viewdownload&downloaditemid=531)</a>
3. at that moment your keyboard should be detected in the Windows device manager as a Razer Bootloader
4. launch the firmware update program... it detects the keyboard, flash and reset it.
5. YES !! blue leds are back... keyboard is working !!!

klingt erstmal gut, dachte ich mir - also, 1) Treiber un alles andere von Razor von der Platte löschen. 2) Neustarten 3) den Treiber (Razer_BlackWidow_Driver_v1.05 - Razer_BlackWidow_FirmwareUpdater_v2.05.03 - Razer_BlackWidow_FirmwareUpdater_v1.05) installieren, hier sollte sich windows jetz melden und sagen das es den “Razor Bootloader” als usb device gefunden und installiert hat. 4) das alte Firmware Update auf die Tastatur ziehen 1.05 5) die aktuelle Firmware drüber flashen 6) aktuellen Treiber nochmal mit installieren 7) Neustarten
